The Sales and Marketing sector in Mauritius is at a challenging stage in terms of its development, with the dismantling of past preferences and the emergence of new economic and competitive issues on the local, regional as well as global arena. In order to survive and progress, businesses will have to rely more and more, and in a different way, on its capacity to innovate, to control cost and to serve the increasing demand of its prospects and customers.
 
Target audience:
Officers, Supervisors and Functional Manager in the field of sales and marketing, and those in the areas of market research, public relations, communication and advertising. It is also applicable to those, with a minimum qualification of School Certificate, contemplating the start or the enhancement of their career in sales and /or marketing.

Objectives of our course:

  • To develop a thorough understanding of marketing and sales principles in the ever-changing business environment in Mauritius.
  • To explain the different activities involved in the modern sales process of a business, from the operating staff’s point of view.
  • To view the support activities and campaigns revolving around business and the different competencies needed to be efficient on today’s ultra competitive environment.

Course Format: Face-to-face lectures with LCD Presentation, Individual exercises, Case-study discussions, Mauritian case-in-practice, Role-plays.

Standards: Professional, practical, real-life and up-to-date training. Approved by the Mauritius Qualifications Authority.

Duration: 24 Hours over 12 Weeks – Part time, with one weekly session.
